George Ireland
George Ireland (b. 1958) acted as a ghost writer for A Gilt-Edged Life, the memoirs of Edmund de Rothschild, and has been a principal writer and editor of obituaries for the Daily Telegraph since 1992. Previously a barrister and private secretary to Robert Maxwell, he was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he read History.
